BTHome is a well-supported open Bluetooth protocol that let BLE device to advertise data in the low power mode, so that is perfect if you plan to use the Thunderboard Sense 2, or any other supported Silicon Labs device such as BGM220, EFR32BG22, EFR32xG24, and many more that are compatible with their latest SDK and maintained by the manufacturer.
